Katalyst Brief · In development

Bring the numbers and next steps into one brief.

We are developing Katalyst Brief to help hotels prepare weekly revenue meetings and monthly owner updates. The aim is a clear account of what changed, why it matters and what needs a decision, using the reports your team already produces.

Why we are building it

Make the meeting easier to prepare and act on.

Preparing a commercial meeting can mean combining exports, checking periods and rewriting the same context for different readers. Katalyst Brief is being designed to bring that preparation into a consistent weekly and monthly process.

The platform foundation is in place. Report ingestion and validation with real hotel reports are still in development. The product is not yet available for live hotel use.

First release in development

Two packs, shaped around the people reading them.

Weekly Revenue-Meeting Pack

What changed this week, and what needs a decision?

Planned for the GM and commercial team: a concise review of performance, significant changes and proposed actions, with references to the reports behind them.

Monthly Commercial Owner Pack

What drove the result, and what will management do next?

Planned for owners and asset teams: a monthly commercial summary that distinguishes the reported figures, management interpretation, agreed actions and outstanding questions.

Design principles

Every useful brief starts with figures you can check.

The product is being built around clear sources, visible gaps and human review. AI-assisted explanations must stay grounded in the supplied figures.

Start with the source figures

Calculate changes from the supplied reports and defined rules. Keep source periods and definitions clear.

Make the evidence easy to check

Connect each commercial observation to the figures and reporting period that support it.

Show what is missing

Flag missing reports, late inputs and conflicting figures so the team knows what still needs checking.

Keep decisions with the team

Help people prepare and review the information. Commercial decisions and approval stay with the responsible hotel team.

Planned workflow

From existing reports to agreed actions.

  1. 01Bring together the reports used for the weekly meeting or monthly owner update.
  2. 02Check reporting periods and definitions, calculate changes and flag gaps.
  3. 03Prepare a concise pack with source references and questions for the team to review.
  4. 04Record agreed actions and carry outstanding items into the next meeting.

Working with your existing systems

Keep the systems that already hold your data.

Katalyst Brief is intended to work from your existing reports. Your property, reservation, revenue and business intelligence systems continue to hold their records. Pricing decisions remain with your commercial team.

The first release focuses on weekly and monthly reporting. A daily brief is a later possibility and is outside the current release.

Discuss your reporting process

What takes the most work before your revenue meeting?

Tell us which reports you prepare, who reads them and where the process becomes difficult. We can discuss the intended fit and current development stage before considering any implementation.

Katalyst Labs is the software division of Katalyst House, where you can also discuss revenue strategy and wider hospitality support.

A clearer commercial conversation. Not another dashboard.

Weekly Revenue-Meeting Pack.

A structured basis for reviewing the week, understanding the important changes and agreeing what happens next.

Monthly Commercial Owner Pack.

A clear commercial narrative for owner conversations, tied to the period and the reports being discussed.

Review before distribution.

Keep the source context, limitations and responsible person’s approval visible, rather than treating a generated document as an unquestionable answer.

What to explore in a private conversation

In development, not yet available for live hotel use. Weekly and monthly packs are the first release focus; daily reporting and automated pricing are not included in this offer.
